I wasn’t going to say anything but I know many o

I wasn’t going to say anything but I know many of you follow me for my journey with my health & this is a space for honesty and transparency. Today I had surgery for my second miscarriage. We chose to have everything sent off to a lab to help determine if I will ever be able to have children or carry a pregnancy to term.

My eyes are swollen from crying for weeks and most of my veins are blown from testing. I’m exhausted from how much blood I’ve lost due to a blood clot in my uterus that’s drained over the past 2 weeks. And overall, I just don’t feel like “me” anymore.

I’ve tried to play “normal” and still be the best friend , advocate , employee and patient that I can be. - All while carrying the overwhelming, indescribable pain of watching my unborn baby’s heart slowly deteriorate until it had nothing left to give.

I don’t want your pity. I don’t need advice. All I ask is for understanding.

You never know what someone is going through. For the immense amount of physical and mental pain I’ve gone through, I’d say I carried it damn well.

Now I rest with the peace of knowing the sacrifices and trauma my body experienced were not in vain. I housed a life in my womb.

I carried you and watched you grow. I watched as your little heart beat inside of me and I wouldn’t change that for the world. We fought together, but Im glad you don’t have to fight anymore. If you happen to run into Ree [my great gma, your great great gma] in Heaven, tell her I love her. I know we’ll all meet again someday 💕 👶 👼
